The perfect customization is focuses on what the granite piece is actually going to be useful for, as soon as the customer has offered their specifications the piece is in the end detailed before it gets prepared to be used. A modern kitchen worktop must have a hole for the sink which must be made in the centre of the granite worktop. Again, after the cut the rough edges will again be sanded away. Clips and support pins for the sink itself must also be attached to the kitchen worktops.
Some granite worktops, nevertheless, do not need a hole to be cut; some customers place the texture of their granite worktop above everything else. For this purpose the master craftsmen use a hammer and chisel to sculpture curlicues and geometric patterns along the edge or in the centre of the piece.
In the end, the piece is placed in bubble plastic, secured with duct tape, and now it can be transported and installed. The whole process, from unrefined stone to finished usable countertop, usually requires a day only, with pieces that require heavy detailing taking an additional length of time.
