Sealing the worktop — now that the installation is complete the surface should be sealed so that it might to protect the granite worktop from spots. In order to perform this applies the sealer on top of the surface giving 10 minutes to ‘sit’. When the 10 minutes have passed, you must clean up the excess sealer with a clean cloth bearing in mind the manufacturer’s recommendations. Allow the adhesives a minimum of 48 hours to dry then apply a second coat to protect the granite surface against bacteria and mildew.
